A new study by Wallethub.com ranked several Colorado towns and cities among the top 30 out of 300 cities as the best place for new homebuyers. The rankings are made up of three different sections: housing affordability, real estate market, and living environment. Centennial ranked 3rd overall among all three sections. Longmont, Thornton, Arvada, Colorado Springs, Westminster, Greeley, and Fort Collins all made the top 30 in the overall rank. Colorado Springs was featured as 5th best for lowest real-estate tax rate, and Centennial made #2 in lowest property crime rate.
